Description: Bamboo weaving is an inherited crafts in Bang Chao Cha. On the occasion of her visit to the village, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn advised the people to grow golden bamboo for their raw material and to conserve the craft.
The Women’s Co-operative Group of Bang Chao Cha is the active producer of the beautiful hand-made bags of woven bamboo.
