After several years of traveling to Thailand, my native country, to carry out dental, medical and humanitarian missions, I had a vision of creating a boutique that would allow me to share the beautiful products made by the Thai villagers and craftsmen with my friends in the U.S.
As a humanitarian worker, I worked extensively with the hill tribe people in remote areas of Thailand and with the victims of the Tsunami. Through this experience, I realized the best way to help the people of Thailand was to provide an outlet for the villagers to become self-reliant. Thai Crossing brings you an array of jewelry, silk, cotton, woodcarvings, ceramics, furniture and other home-décor items.
