Sixteen months ago, my husband had a devastating hemorrhagic stroke. It left him paralyze on one side of his body. At this time, he needs my help to gain back his life again. Unfortunately, it does not leave me much time to manage the store. With heavy heart, I have decided to close the store. However, we will work on developing the website and expand it for your purchasing convenient. I hope it will be ready for your Holiday season. After several years of traveling to Thailand, my native country, to carry out dental, medical and humanitarian missions, I had a vision of creating a boutique that would allow me to share the beautiful products made by the Thai villagers and craftsmen with my friends in the U.S.
As a humanitarian worker, I worked extensively with the hill tribe people in remote areas of Thailand and with the victims of the Tsunami. Through this experience, I realized the best way to help the people of Thailand was to provide an outlet for the villagers to become self-reliant. Thai Crossing brings you an array of jewelry, silk, cotton, woodcarvings, ceramics, furniture and other home-décor items.
